ABOUT US
In the year 2001, the Lord began to deal with our Pastor about starting a new church in the Valley area. In September 2001, the vision came to pass. We had our first service in an old restaurant building with about eleven (11) people. We continued to have services in that building for a little over a year; rent free. In 2003, the Lord opened a door for us to purchase an existing Church in the Valley. This Church sits on a little over 5 acres of land. On Mother's Day 2003, we had our first service in what is now our fellowship hall. Since that time, we have built a new Sanctuary, paved our parking lot, cleared land, and completed several other projects. We have grown from eleven (11) people to about a hundred (100) and are having new people visit us every week. We are actively involved in Missions in the Countries of Mexico and Haiti. We not only support them financially, but we also take teams and do hands on ministry. We believe that what we have seen God do since our inception is just a drop in the bucket compared to what is to come. We are currently debt free, and we give God all the glory!!
OUR VISION DECLARATION
We declare that we will have an experience with God as our relationship with Him increases and intensifies. We will yield our hearts, our minds, and our lives to Him. We will receive the life-changing Word of God into our hearts. No matter what comes our way we will be forever changed by the Word of God.

The Upper Room Church was founded on and by faith. We will continue to be a church that operates in faith in every aspect of this ministry. The Upper Room Church will always:

Receive the impossible
The Upper Room Church will be a lighthouse in our community for the lost and a refuge for the hurting.
The Upper Room Church is a body of believers that believe in and practice the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We will experience the
Word of God, the Works of God, and Worship of God in three weekly services.
OUR PRACTICE
The Upper Room Church will be a church where:
People can be helped to RECOVER what the enemy has stolen in their lives.
People can be RESTORED into a right relationship with God and others.
People who need a touch from God can be REVIVED.
Peoples lives are REFINED by the life-changing power of Gods Word.
People are REWARDEDby God for their obedience to His Word in:
Caring for Widows, Orphans, and the Elderly
Supporting foreign missions
Helping those in need of shelter, clothing, or food
Reaching out into our local community with the Gospel
Being faithful with their tithes, offerings, and alms

Through the leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit, we will accomplish this vision and more as a
local assembly in unity just as the Word of God teaches.
